Mrs. Christensen has taught in the  Medicine Lodge Kansas School District, (1988-1992),  Anthony Kansas School District, (1999-2013), Burlington Oklahoma School District (2013-2017) teaching Pre-K, 3^rd grade and 6-8 Social Studies.

She is currently a Social Studies teacher at the Middle School teaching 6^th and 7^th grade.  Coach Christensen is the AMS Head Girls and Boys Cross Country Coach and the Head AMS Girls Track Coach.

Mrs. Christensen is married to Bruce Christensen and enjoys running and barrel racing.  She has two children, Brett and Savanna.
